Three good friends, Jody from Memphis, TN, Scott from Texas and Chock (what a great name for a yellow lab) from Wichita, KS, do a little business together and have made many hunting and fly fishing trips together over the years. We are fortunate that they decided to come fly fishing with us for a couple of days on the Little Red River. All these anglers released some really nice German Brown Trout, like the one in the photo below of Bo and Chock. Most of the fish were taken on #14 RG/PT Cruisers and #16 Purple Haze Sowbugs. We also had the unique experience of an encounter with “Mongo” during our second day on the river.
