Good Water & Good Friends

The generation the past two days has been reduced to one unit and the fish really seemed to like the stable flow. Two of my great friends, George Born and Chuck Farneth, joined me for a day of streamer fishing on the Little Red River. Although there was not a really big fish caught, except a pretty large Chained Pickrell, the overall numbers were pretty darn good. It did not seem to matter too much which streamer pattern was in the water, if you got the fly in a good spot and worked the fly the reward was there. Yellow was the color of the day.
