Streamer Fishing Lesson
Yesterday was cold and blustery on the Little Red River with just over one unit of water running all day. Regardless I took the opportunity to do some streamer fishing with my good friend, Chuck Farneth. Winner of the 2001 ESPN Great Outdoors Fly Fishing Competition and many other awards, Chuck is a world class fly fisher and I always learn something from him. I pride myself on being a good streamer fisher and guide; but this day I learned a lot about streamer size for this level of water flows.
