This weekend we had a great time at the Remodeling Celebration at The Ozark Angler fly shop in Heber Springs, Ar. The remodeled shop looks great and the expanded inventory has everything for the avid fly fisher and fly tier. A number of vendors including Orvis, Sage Fly Fishing, Hardy Fly Fishing, fishpond and Maui Jim were there to demo their products. There was fly casting instruction, fly tying demonstrations and loads of door prizes. The George BBQ was well represented as my son, Trent Goins, and I smoked two hundred chickens as well as some great Arkansas tube steak, ie., bologna. It was a great crowd with lots of children learning about the sport of fly fishing. www.emptycreelflyfishing.com
