Some fly fishing trips are rewarding because you catch a bunch of big fish; but other trips become rewarding in different ways. That was the case last week on our second trip in two months to the Louisiana marsh. The weather was very difficult with 30mph sustained winds and gusts to 40mph resulting in very murky water making it hard to sight fish, not to mention tough casting conditions. Regardless we worked hard and managed to catch some really nice Redfish in some weather most anlgers would not even attempt to fly fish.
