This beautiful little, wild, Brown Trout just smashed a streamer and then proceeded to tail walk about five yards. "Life is Good on the Fly!"

First trip of the year was pretty short but we did find a few decent fish as we finally got a little generation. Actually the weather was really pretty nice for the 3rd day of January.
It has been very dry this fall and early winter and Greers Ferry Lake is quite low so there has been very little generation for months. I have never seen the river this low for this long. We need a sustained rainy period as the lake needs a good eight feet of water.
