Our first stop was the Gunnison River near Hotchkiss, Colorado where we floated from just below the Black Canyon though the Gunnison Gorge. You would be hard pressed to find a more beautiful stretch of river. The water was really off color; but Trent Goins made the most of it and landed a bunch of nice Brown Trout on my ACC Streamer Pattern. I really enjoyed catching two Silver Carp on streamer which was a completely new species for me.
