COLORADO FLY FISHING TOUR 2025
July 22nd thru August 1st, 2025
My son, Trent, and I had a really wonderful fly fishing tour through Colorado with absolutley some of the best dry fly fishing we have enjoyed in a long time. We started on the Roaring Fork River out of Glenwood Springs, Co., and the Yellow Sallies and Pale Morning Duns were just every where almost all day long. The lower Colorado River also fished great on hopper-dropper rigs with lots of takes on the hopper patterns. After that we moved to Salida, Co., to the Arkansas River and again the dry fly fishing was fantastic along with hopper-dropper rigs. Many thanks to our good friend Mark Richardson with Ark Anglers Fly Shop as it is always a joy to fish with him. Also thanks to Roaring Fork Anglers as well as Ryan Davis and Hooker's Fly Shop for taking good care of us in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
