Last June while fly fishing out west with my son, Trent Goins, I started having significant vision issues. Since then I have had retinal procedures on both eyes. Yesterday was the first time I have been able to get back on the water and was so fortunate to find this special Brown Trout on a size #20 Polish Midge on 6X tippet. My vision is still not great but hopefully it will improve over the next few months. Thanks to my good friend, Tom Gazaway, for a wonderful day on the river.
