It has been way too long since I got to fly fish with my dear old friend, Paul Broddick. We have been fly fishing together for at least thirty years from the rivers in Alaska to the flats of the Bahamas and many, many points in between.
For the past six years, we have both lived about three miles apart on the banks of the Little Red River near Heber Springs, Arkansas. We both thought we would be fly fishing together all the time. Funny how things happen; but for a variety of reasons our time together on the water these past years has become less and less.
Anyway, last Friday we had a wonderful day together and Paul put on a real Brown Trout catching clinic as you can see from the photos above. Hopefully, we will get to spend much more time together on many rivers in the coming years.
