Little Red River Wildlife

JUNE 01, 2015

Bo and his good friend, Paul Broddick, had an amazing day of fly fishing last Friday on the Little Red River; but it was the wildlife along the river banks that made it a special day.  First we got to play “Peek-A-Boo” and photograph a beautiful Barred Owl.  While having lunch on the river we watched a mother Mink ferry her two young offspring across the river carrying them by the scruff of their neck.  She brought one across and then went back and brought a second one across the river.  Finally, late in the afternoon we saw a wild Turkey just standing on the river bank having a casual drink of water.

Oh yeah, the guys caught some pretty good fish too!
